- Fit the Headstrap: Loosen the headstrap and place the Meta Quest headset on your head. Tighten the strap, ensuring the headset sits comfortably and securely without putting excessive pressure on your face.
- Adjust the IPD: The interpupillary distance (IPD) setting aligns the lenses with your eyes. To adjust, use the IPD slider on the bottom of the headset to find the setting that provides the clearest image.
- Customize the Face Gasket: The detachable face gasket can be adjusted or replaced to optimize the fit. Try different gasket sizes or shapes to find the most comfortable option.
- Tweak the Headstrap Fit: Use the adjustable sliders on the sides and back of the headstrap to find the ideal tension and positioning on your head.
- Optimize the Nose/Cheek Clearance: The headset should rest comfortably on your face without applying too much pressure. Experiment with the positioning to find the sweet spot.
- Adjust the Audio: If using the built-in headphones, position them properly over your ears. You can also use alternative headphones by connecting them to the 3.5mm jack.
- Take Breaks: Use the headset in moderation and take regular breaks to avoid discomfort or eyestrain.
