Pico Neo 3 #
Turn on the headset by pressing the button on the left side of the top of the headset. The headset should be adjusted for comfort by manually adjusting the lenses left and right, and the strap can be tightened by rotating the metal knob on the back. The view should be clear with no streaking.
Once turned on, grab the two controllers into their proper hands, and press any button, the headset should detect them, and you will see a virtual version of them. The controllers can be used as digital “Laser pointers” to make window selections. To confirm on buttons, either squeeze the “Trigger” on the back of the controller, or press “X” or “A” buttons on the face of the controllers.
Adjust IPD on Pico NEO 3:
To adjust IPD (Interpupillary Distance). This is done by physically moving the lenses with your hands.
- Boot up headset and look straight ahead
- Take off headset to look on inside at the lenses
- Gently adjust the lenses within one of three settings (58mm, 63.5mm, 69mm) adjust the lenses together by moving them inward or outward to find clearest setting
- Place headset back on and verify the image is clearer

Adjust IPD on Pico 4:
To adjust IPD (Interpupillary Distance). This is done while wearing the headset, and headset is on.
- Navigate to the “Settings” in the Library
- Scroll to “Pupil Distance”
- Adjust Pupil distance using the “-” and “+” until you find the lens spacing that feels most comfortable to you.
- Click back to your settings and the IPD setting will be saved. You can note the IPD distance for future adjustments if needed.
