Role: Real Estate Finance Associate

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $260,000 – $420,000

About the Practice

Having recently placed into the group, we are continuing to assist the firm in their searches for a Mid-Level Real Estate Finance associate . This is an Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognized real estate practice, ranked by Chambers and The Legal 500 and a core focus of one of the firm’s five key industry sectors . More than 80 real estate attorneys across eight offices collaborate on sophisticated acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development, leasing and joint ventures. The New York team is growing, and this is a partnership-track opportunity for a mid-level associate who wants a long-term career at a premier firm with a national platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

\n
• Represent lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions
\n
• Negotiate, document and close mortgage, mezzanine and other secured lending deals
\n
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related financing instruments
\n
• Coordinate with clients, borrowers’ counsel and other transaction participants
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s offices on complex, multi-faceted matters
\n

What They’re Looking For

\n
• 3 to 7 years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience
\n
• Meaningful experience representing lenders in commercial real estate financings
\n
• Experience negotiating, documenting and closing mortgage, mezzanine and other secured lending transactions
\n
• Strong academic record
\n
• Excellent writing and organizational skills, a team-oriented mindset, and New York Bar membership (required)
\n
